What's new in SQL Query 2007?
- Support for UNICODE-data in the grid is implemented.
- SSH tunneling support is improved: Private Key support for SSH authentication is implemented.
- Added HTML View and Hexadecimal View for BLOB fields.
- The functionality of ToolTips in DB Explorer is extended: comments for objects and database information are now displayed.
- Comments for fields are now displayed in SQL Assistant.
- Added the Object Search feature in DB Explorer.
- A single database registration repository can now be used for SQL Query and SQL Manager (if the latter is installed on the machine).
- Improved graphical user interface.
- Improved Database Explorer: much more convenient toolbar and context menu.

JavaServer Faces technology is a server-side user interface component framework for Java technology-based web applications. It includes

A set of APIs for: representing UI components and managing their state, handling events and input validation, defining page navigation, and supporting internationalization and accessibility.
A JavaServer Pages (JSP) custom tag library for expressing a JavaServer Faces interface within a JSP page.

JavaServer Faces Technology 1.2

The latest version of JavaServer Faces technology is version 1.2, the final version of which has been released through the Java Community Process under JSR-252. You can download the 1.2 version of the specification from the JSR 252 web page.

The latest implementation of version 1.2 is the patch release, version 1.2_04. You can download all patch releases from here. See the Announcements page for the javaserverfaces.dev.java.net project for more details on each of the releases.

You can get the JavaServer Faces 1.2 reference implementation in one of the following ways:

Download Java EE 5 SDK.
Download the open-source Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) application server, available through the GlassFish project, available from java.net.
Download the implementation JAR files separately from javaserverfaces.dev.java.net if you want to use the implementation with other containers.

The reference implementation source code is available from the javaserverfaces-sources project on java.net.

04 July 2007 - HttpComponents HttpCore 4.0-alpha5 released

HttpComponents HttpCore 4.0-alpha5 has been released. HttpCore provides a set of low level components, which can be used to build custom client and server side HTTP services.

The ALPHA5 version delivers a number of incremental improvements across the board in all modules and adds several performance oriented features such as ability to transfer data directly between a file and a socket NIO channels. Please check it out and let the HttpComponents team know what you think.

This is likely to be the last ALPHA release of the HttpCore 4.0 branch. HttpCore is is expected to enter the BETA development phase with the next release.

02 July 2007 - Commons IO 1.3.2 released

Commons IO 1.3.2 has been released. Commons IO provides low level utilities, file filters and streams that probably should be in the JDK.

This is a bugfix release which introduces a scopable version of the FileCleaner.
